Express Publishing Annual Contest 2026 Is Now Open!
What if the jobs our students will have in the future don’t even exist yet? A century ago, roles like “knocker-ups” were part of everyday life; jobs created to meet real needs. Today, jobs like these feel almost unimaginable. And that raises an important question for our classrooms: what comes next?
Our 2026 contest, That’s Not Even a Real Job!, invites students to think beyond the present and explore the future – not just by inventing new professions, but by understanding the needs that create them.
