A DEEP DIVE INTO INCLUSIVE MATERIALS
Inclusive practices have been on the minds, lips and fingertips of an increasing number of us over the last few years. Frameworks devised for our materials, however, are wonderful guidelines only if we take the time to follow through with application. So, let’s explore some materials that problematically exclude marginalised people and some that get it right from the start. We’ll then do some blue-sky thinking, as we will consider the ways we can supplement curriculum materials and brainstorm on the ways we can create our very own, inclusive resources.
