THE POWER OF STORIES
We all know that stories play a big part in the EFL classroom. They allow students the chance to improve their listening, reading and comprehension skills, along with many other skills of course, all while traveling in magical worlds with the help of their boundless imagination. However, stories offer so much more than that, don’t you think? So, I would like us to talk about the real power of stories and why they are so important for our students and the EFL classroom.
KRISTY KORS has a BA (Hons) from Leeds Metropolitan University and a CELTA allowing her to study different types of teaching methodology approaches. She taught English as a foreign language for several years before joining Express Publishing as an ELT Consultant. She now participates in seminars and conferences around the world, conducting teacher training sessions where she shares her research and ideas on the latest methodological advances. She has also been an oral examiner for various world-renowned international exams for the past five years.
